BeautyBlender original foam sampler
Full Size Price: $20.00
Sample size value is approximately: ???
This is a sample size of the original beauty blender and claims to help seamlessly apply creams and powders with a streak-free finish. I found this sample to be quite deceiving. When I made my sample choice this month, I chose this curated box mainly due to the idea of being able to try out a beauty blender. The sample is so small that it is truly not of much use and to me is a waste of a sample. I do like the idea of being able to feel and test out the material of the beauty blender, but to not actually have a use for it is just pointless. Here is what the full size product ended up looking like, it was about the size of my thumb. While the size is decent for applying concealer, the fact it is so thin makes it useless.

Davines SU Hair & Body Wash
Full Size Price: $24.00
Sample size value is approximately: $7.20
This is a hair and body wash gel that is made with Italian citrus extract. The formula claims to nourish skin and prevent damage from the sun on your hair while conditioning it. I found the formula of this product to be quite thin so a lot comes out easily. The scent is a slightly sweet citrus which does linger a bit on the skin after use. I did find that it felt nice on the skin and did not cause any irritation. The scent is not my favorite so I don't see myself purchasing the full size.

Red Earth DEEP DIVE Water Cream
Full Size Price: $25.00
Sample size value is approximately: $3.47
This is a water cream that is formulated with ceramides and collagen. It claims to instantly melt into the skin providing an immediate boost of hydration. I don't notice a scent with this product and it does feel very light when applied. It is extremely hydrating and I felt like it really refreshed my skin. I would purchase the full size of this product.

R + Co WATERFALL Moisture + Shine Lotion
Full Size Price: $29.00
Sample size value is approximately: $2.90
This is hair moisture and shine lotion that claims to hydrate hair, minimize frizz, and boost shine. It is formulated for all hair types. To use the product, apply to wet strands before blow-drying or air-drying. You can also use it on dry hair to tame flyaways and nourish ends. The formula is not too thick and is easy to apply throughout the hair, I found the scent to be on the sweet side with a slight musky note. The scent is very nice and does linger on the hair after use. I found that it made my hair feel soft and did help with my frizz issues. I would purchase the full size of this product.

Beautaniq Beauty Glow Serum in shade "Morning Dew"
Full Size Price: $22.00
Sample size value is approximately: $7.37
This is a champagne gold hydrating cream that is infused with nourishing apricot fruit extract. To use, you apply anywhere you need a glowy boost or you can mix it into your foundation for a more dewy and bright look. When I opened this product, it poured out and made quite the mess so I do feel like a pump would be the best for this type of product. The pigmentation is amazing with this product and a little bit goes a long way. I do find that blending it can be a bit difficult with anything other than a beauty blender. While I find it to be a beautiful shade, I think the formula is a bit difficult to work with.

My June Birchbox is valued at $20.94.
I pay $10.00 a month for my subscription so I received an additional value of $10.94.

Overall, I was fairly disappointed with this month's box which unfortunately seems to be a theme lately in my subscription. While I enjoyed a few of the products, I was extremely let down by the beauty blender sample and felt annoyed by the lack of transparency about the product I was going to receive. I do feel if the samples continue in this direction then I will be canceling my subscription this year. My favorite product from this month's box was the hair moisture and shine lotion.
