Valentine's Day Menu 2018

9:00 AM

Today I wanted to share what I am making as a part of my Valentine's Day menu this year. For my family, I love making a special event out of any holiday I can. This is a simple way to incorporate a holiday theme in your day without overdoing it. Keep reading if you want to see my menu plan!

Breakfast

For breakfast I prepared a blueberry cream cheese french toast casserole. The best part of this is that it sits overnight in the fridge to soak in all the flavor and you just have to bake it in the morning. Click here for the recipe.

Snack

This is a simple snack to make the night before and keep a dish out for people to snack on throughout the day. This is a Valentine's Day mix that contains heart shaped cheerios, m&ms, and strawberry wafer cookies.

Lunch/Dinner

This can be used as either a lunch or dinner option. All you need is some pizza dough and your favorite toppings. Cut the dough into a heart shape with a cookie cutter and bake accordingly.

Drink

This is our favorite drink to serve throughout the day. I usually make this in a big punch bowl and add the toppings as I serve. These are called Cupid's Floats and are made with cherry 7-up, vanilla ice cream, cherries, and whipped cream. You can also decorate with festive sprinkles and chocolate syrup.

Dessert

Another simple dish to keep things festive is this cherry cheesecake. All you need is a basic cheesecake recipe and top it with cherry pie filling or a fresh cherry compote. You can easily change the topping based on your preferences.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Valentine's menu!
