What I Ate Wednesday: Weight Watchers {12/13/17}

I am back with another edition of my What I Ate Wednesday as a Weight Watchers member. This is the first edition using the new Freestyle Program so I will explain that a bit today. The new program has lowered my daily SmartPoints but now there are over 200 foods that are zero points. This includes items like boneless/skinless chicken, beans, and corn. I am excited about the program changes since I love a lot of the zero point food options! I enjoy sharing this series with all of you as it gives a glimpse of just how amazing being a WW member is as you don't sacrifice at all with your food options. I currently have a daily budget of 29 SmartPoints. Keep reading if you want to see how I spent my points!


Breakfast

Mixed Berry Overnight Oats
SmartPoints Total: 7 points
For breakfast I made overnight oats. To make these I mixed 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 cup of frozen mixed berries and half a banana. I left it in the fridge overnight and warmed it up in the morning. They are super filling and versatile enough to make something to your taste by replacing the fruit with whatever toppings you prefer.


Lunch

Thin Crust Pizza with Pepperoni and Spinach
SmartPoints Total: 9 points
Lunch was leftovers from a previous night's dinner. This is a thin crust pizza with no cheese, pepperoni, and spinach.


Dinner

Black Bean Nachos and a Southwestern Salad
SmartPoints Total: 5 points
Dinner was black bean nachos with a southwestern salad that I topped with turkey bacon bits. The best part of freestyle, is that most of the items on this plate were zero points!


By the end of the day, I had used 21 SmartPoints and felt full enough to not use what was left. With the new program, a maximum of 4 points will roll over to the next day if you don't use them!
