Magic Spoon {Pinterest Classroom Project}

9:00 AM

Welcome to my series "Pinterest Classroom Project"! This series is based around my cooking series, "Pinterest Test Kitchen". Every other month, I post four classroom projects or experiments and let all of you vote for one week on which you'd most like to see tested. This month's winner was "Magic Spoon" which was originally created by "The Science Kiddo", click here to view the full post.

The Final Product & Review

This is probably one of the easiest science projects we have ever done yet it was also super exciting for all the kids. I would recommend doing this in a quiet room as you can actually hear the salt and pepper hitting the spoon as the static electricity picks it up. I think this ties in perfectly with science lessons related to static electricity and I find that it works for almost any age range to help them grasp the idea. I highly recommend giving this a try for yourself!

If you missed our last classroom project, click here to see us make "Kool-Aid Play Dough".

Down in the comments, let me know if you decide to give this project a try.

As always any requests, questions, or comments are greatly appreciated. Talk to you soon!
