Halloween Crafts 2017

9:00 AM

Just in time for Halloween, I wanted to share three simple craft ideas that can be used for decorations or just as an activity to celebrate the holiday. Keep reading if you want to see how to make each!

What You'll Need For All Crafts:

- Markers or crayons
- Glue
- Pencil
- Stencils (optional)
- Scissors
- Pompom balls
- Toilet paper or paper towel rolls
- Black and orange construction paper

Halloween Bat

Step 1:
If using a paper towel roll, cut it in half. You will need one half per bat and if you are using a toilet paper roll then use as is.

Step 2:
Color the roll black, you can either color the entire tube or just the front for display purposes.

Step 3:
Fold the top and bottom of the roll inward, simply press down each side to overlap. You can glue them down or simply let them stay overlapped to keep them in place.

Step 4:
Using a piece of black construction paper, sketch out your bat wings. Feel free to make them any size you prefer. Cut them out.

Step 5:
Using a piece of orange construction paper, sketch out your fangs. Feel free to make them any size you prefer. Cut them out.

Step 6:
Attach wings to the back of tube with glue. Then attach the fangs and pompom balls to the face.

Step 7:
Allow to fully dry before displaying or using.

Pumpkin Craft

Step 1:
Sketch out the pumpkin shape over the orange construction paper. Line up a black sheet of construction paper and then cut out shape.

Step 2:
Draw a face onto the pumpkin shape.

Step 3:
Cut out the face outline.

Step 4:
Glue the orange paper on top of the black paper. Allow to fully dry before using. Feel free to color or decorate the pumpkin as well.

Ghost Craft

Step 1:
Either free hand or use a stencil to sketch out the ghost shape on to a piece of black construction paper.

Step 2:
Place an orange piece of construction paper behind the black paper. Cut out the ghost shape.

Step 3:
Glue the two pieces of paper together. Allow to fully dry before using and feel free to decorate the shape.

I hope you enjoyed these simple crafts and let me know in the comments down below if you give any of them a try!
