The Final Product & Review:

As a note, I did change a few things with the original recipe so I want to go over those before my full review. I did not use whole milk to cut back on calories, I also used red gel to make the faces on the cups, and I used orange food coloring to give the whipped cream more of a Halloween look. The recipe itself is extremely easy to follow which makes it a breeze to put together for a Halloween party. The flavor was what you'd expect for a vanilla shake, it did turn out less sweet than I expected but I figure that may do with the ice cream base I used.

Overall, it was delicious and could easily be made into a variety of flavors and colors to celebrate other holidays as well. My kids already want to try making a Christmas Tree and Santa version for Christmas! I highly recommend giving it a try for yourself.
