Turkey Noodle Casserole Recipe

Today I am sharing my recipe for Turkey Noodle Casserole. This is a dinner that can be put together in about 30 minutes and doesn't have a ton of ingredients so it is a great quick fix meal option. Keep reading if you want to see how to prepare this dish!


Turkey Noodle Casserole


Ingredients:

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 to 6 slices of turkey bacon
- Whole wheat wide egg noodles
- 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste, optional


How To Prepare:

Step 1:
Begin by boiling water and cooking noodles based on the instructions.



Step 2:
Slice up your bacon strips into bite size pieces. I do this by stacking all the pieces, making three cuts down, and then cutting across.





Step 3:
Add bacon to a pan over medium to medium-high heat. Cook until browned and slightly crispy, about 5 minutes.




Step 4:
Add in your ground turkey, crumble into bite size pieces.



Step 5:
Once turkey is cooked about halfway through, add all seasonings. Mix well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.




Step 6:
Turn heat to low, continue cooking for about 2 minutes.



Step 7:
Carefully add in milk, stir until well combined. Let simmer for 10 minutes. If you want a more creamy texture, feel free to add in another 1/2 cup milk or water.



Step 8:
Once your pasta is fully cooked, drain and set aside.



Step 9:
Once turkey is done, carefully add it to the pasta. Mix well. Serve immediately.
