Menu Planning Series {Week 20}

9:00 AM

Welcome to my menu planning series! This series is all about me sharing my family's week of dinners. I make dinner for the family every weekday evening, on weekends we eat leftovers and sometimes go out to eat. I try my best to switch up our meals fairly often and am always looking for new recipes to try. I am hoping this series inspires some of you and also keeps me from being too repetitive with our meals. I will be posting this series every two weeks, which was voted on by all of you. I will be including the SmartPoints Value for each meal in case any Weight Watchers members are interested. Enjoy this week's menu!

Monday
Red Lobster Maple Glazed Chicken with Rice Pilaf
SmartPoints Value: 18 points
I had not originally planned for us to eat out on this day but due to a hectic evening, we did end up at Red Lobster. Thankfully, I had the points to spare for my go to meal.

Tuesday
Loaded Nachos with Fruit Salad
SmartPoints Value:8 points
This is a simple meal that is a family favorite. I take my normal taco meat and just add refried beans to it for our nachos.

Wednesday
Copycat Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches, Blue Tortilla Chips, Homemade Salsa, and Pickles
SmartPoints Value: 13 points
One of my favorite dinners are these copycat Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and pairing it with my homemade salsa.

Thursday
Chicken Pot Pie
SmartPoints Value: 9 points per seving
I typically make this with turkey but the store was out of turkey breasts so I instead made this staple dish into a Chicken Pot Pie.

Friday
Chili Dogs, Tater Tots, and Corn
SmartPoints Value: 16 points
A simple comfort food dish and one that even the kids won't complain about having.

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into my kitchen and menu planning for the week. If I have recipes on my blog for any of the meals posted then the text will be linked in their description.
