Weight Watchers Breakfast Ideas

9:00 AM

Today I wanted to share my top 5 favorite breakfast meals as a Weight Watchers member. I tend to eat some type of fruit based meal as this is what I most crave in the morning so you will notice that theme. I also have included some of my quicker on the go options as I have days where I need to grab something while heading out the door. I will be including the SmartPoints value of each in their description but keep in mind that the value is based on the ingredients I used. So be sure to calculate for yourself as the points may change depending on what you use.

Oats with chocolate chips, banana, and maple syrup
SmartPoints Value: 9 points
Oatmeal is definitely a staple in my household. I usually use plain quick oats and then top with various mixtures. One of my favorites is to add dark chocolate chips, half a banana, and some maple syrup. This is one of the easier and most filling breakfast options that I rely on.

Luna Chocolate Peppermint Stick Bar
SmartPoints Value: 7 points
This is my go to quick breakfast option and one that I eat fairly frequently, especially on the weekends. I love this flavor and find it to be fairly low in points compared to other meal bars.

Fruit Smoothie Bowl
SmartPoints Value: 4 points
This is a smoothie bowl that I got the recipe for from the Skinnytaste Fast and Slow Cookbook. Depending on if you count or don't count blended fruit, then the points value will differ. I personally did not count the blended banana and only counted the other blended ingredients. You can easily make this your own depending on the fruits you prefer.

Breakfast Banana Splite
SmartPoints Value: 4 points
This is an absolute favorite of mine and is very low in points. Again, this can be customized to your preferred tastes. I used banana, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, coconut flakes, greek yogurt, and almond granola.

Winter Fruit Salad
SmartPoints Value: 6 points {per 1 cup serving}
This is a fruit salad mix that I prepare usually at the beginning of the week and will use for either my oatmeal toppings, a snack on its own, or to top my yogurts. I typically make it with a mixture of seasonal fruits but this is my go to favorite combination. The points value comes from the lemon poppy-seed dressing which contains a bit of honey. The fruits used in this particular mixture are oranges, apples, kiwi, and banana.

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into some of my favorite Weight Watchers breakfast options.

In the comments below, let me know what your go to breakfast is.
