smashbox Camera Read BB Cream SPF 35 in shade "Light"
Full Size Price: $39.00
Sample size value is approximately: $9.75
The first product for this month's bag is a camera ready BB cream from Smashbox. This claims to be a 5-in-1 miracle worker as it cuts down on prep time and instantly creates even, radiant skin. It is made to prime, perfect, hydrate, banish shine, and protect with SPF 35. It also claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just 4 weeks. The formula is able to applied on its own or under foundation for more of a full coverage look. It is formulated without Parabens, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Phthalates, Oil, Fragrance, and Talc. It is also a cruelty free product. In the last picture, I swatched the cream on my hand to check for a color match and realized this is bit too yellow for me so I did not use it on my face. The formula itself is light and I think it covers quite well, I would consider purchasing this in a color more suited for my skin tone.

Pacifica Blushious Coconut & Rose Infused Cheek Color in shade "Wild Rose"
Full Size Price: $12.00
I am a big fan of Pacifica products so I was excited to give this blush a try. This is a soft, translucent, universally flattering cheek color with subtle pink and peach undertones that create a natural blush that will highlight any complexion. The pigmentation of this product is quite light but since it is described as a translucent formula than I would expect as much. I found that it applied with ease and blended out nicely, I do feel it took a good amount of effort to achieve the look I wanted but I do really like the color and the idea of this product working for all skin tones. I do enjoy it and think it's unique enough that I would consider repurchasing. From my research, I do believe this is the first full size product this month.

Loverecipe Aloe Mask and Acaiberry Mask
Full Size Price: $1.50 each
I received masks similar to these in my August 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag and I did enjoy them so I was curious to see how these would be. The first mask pictured is an aloe formula that contains aloe and hyaluronic acid which moisturizes and soothes dry and irritated skin. I suffer from dry skin issues so I found this to be a product right up my alley. I did enjoy it and how well saturated the mask itself was. It was a bit difficult to keep it exactly where I wanted but I found it kept my skin quite moisturized days after use. I would consider repurchasing this mask.

The second mask pictured is an acaiberry formula which contains acai berry extract and hyaluronic acid to bring back vitality and elasticity for younger looking skin. I really enjoyed the scent of this mask as it is on the sweeter side. I found that it was also well saturated with the formula and provided a moisturizing feel. To attest to it's claims, I do feel you would need to wear these masks regularly to see a difference. I would consider repurchasing this mask. From my research these both appear to be full size products.

Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Pefection Heat Protectant Creme
Full Size Price: $24.00
Sample size value is approximately: $4.50
This is a weightless blowdry finishing and hair protectant cream fortified with rosehip, argan, and coconut oils. It has the key benefits of protecting against heat damage up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, smoothing hair, taming frizz, enhancing shine, and giving softness to your hair. It is silicone free and good for straight, wavy, curly, coiled, and tightly coiled hair types. First thing that got my attention was the amazing scent this product has. It is the right mix of sweet and tropical and I loved how it made my hair smell. I found that it greatly helped with my frizzy locks and seemed to keep my hair under control for hours after styling. I will definitely be purchasing the full size of this product!

Trust Fund Beauty Lip Gloss in shade "Method to the Madness"
Full Size Price: $22.00
I have enjoyed several of this brand's nail polishes before but did not realize they also made lip products. This is a lip gloss in a neutral pink tone that claims to be build-able for either a rosy sheen look or a flush look. The first thing that caught my attention was the scent and unfortunately not in a good way. It carried a very strong chemical like scent, which I can only compare to a glue like smell. The scent lingers for a bit once applied to the lips so it can be kind of deterring. The pigmentation of the formula is much lighter than the pictures I saw online, I was only able to wear this as a top coat for my go to neutral pink lipstick. It did add a nice glossy look but wasn't anything special to me. If they changed the scent and made the formula more pigmented, I may purchase other shades. From my research, this does appear to be a full size product.

My January Glam Bag is valued at $49.75.
I pay $10.00 a month, so I received an additional value of $39.75.
Overall, I was very happy with the first bag for the new year. Not only did I enjoy the majority of the products but I was also pleased with the amount of full size options. Definitely excited to see how this will compare to the rest of the year's bags. My favorite product is the heat protectant creme.
