Cardboard Rocket Ships {Pinterest Classroom Project}

Welcome to my series "Pinterest Classroom Project"! This series is based around my cooking series, "Pinterest Test Kitchen". Every other month, I post four classroom projects or experiments and let all of you vote for one week on which you'd most like to see tested. This month's winner was "Cardboard Rocket Ships" which was originally created by "Kid Things", click here to view the full post.

The Final Product & Review

I would right off the bat say that this project is more suited to children a bit older, I did this with our homeschooling group and the younger kids had a bit of a difficult time with the assembly process. I also think the thickness of your cardboard roll is important as the paint makes the material quite heavy and can easily be torn. The kids did enjoy putting this together and designing each of their rockets but again, we had some frustration with the younger children. Overall, I think it's a great art project idea and one that can be used along with Science lessons as well.
