What I Ate Wednesday {Weight Watchers} #6

9:00 AM

I am back with another edition of my What I Ate Wednesday as a Weight Watchers member. I enjoy sharing this series with all of you as it gives a glimpse of just how amazing being a WW member is as you don't sacrifice at all with your food options. I currently have a daily budget of 38 SmartPoints and I do try my best to stay within that budget every day. I also exercise six days a week doing a one hour workout which is half cardio and half weight lifting. Click here to see my current fall weight lifting routine. Keep reading if you want to see how I spent my points!

Breakfast
thinkThin Farmer's Market Berry Crumble Oatmeal
SmartPoints value: 6 points
I wanted to mix up my breakfasts a bit more so I tried out this thinkThin Farmer's Market Berry Crumble oatmeal and unfortunately I did not care for this at all. The texture was just not something I liked and the flavor was just okay. I much prefer the basic oatmeal I typically have. It was very filling though.

Lunch
Turkey Sloppy Joes, Steamed Corn on the Cob, Popchips Sea Salt
SmartPoints value: 10 points
For lunch I meal prepped this turkey sloppy joes mixture and served it on a mini slider bun, open faced style to save on points. I also had a half serving of Popchips and corn on the cob. This was super delicious and very easy to make!

Dinner
Garlic & Lemon Chicken with Herb Butter Pasta and Steamed Green Beans
SmartPoints value: 12 points
I am a big fan of simple meals and this is one of my favorites. This is my garlic and lemon chicken paired with butter and herb pasta and steamed green beans.

Snack
Winter Fruit Salad
SmartPoints value: 6 points
This is my homemade Winter fruit salad that is a mixture of some my favorite fruits with a lemon poppy-seed dressing. I had a big bowl of this since I had so many points leftover from the day. Without the dressing this would be a zero point snack option but I do love the extra sweetness and since I had so many points leftover, I decided to splurge a bit.

By the end of the day, I had used 34 SmartPoints and earned a total of 18 FitPoints. I feel like I ate way more than what my points show so I guess that tells you how wisely you can spend your points if you try. If you missed my last What I Ate Wednesday then click here to check it out.
