Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum Review

9:00 AM

Today I am reviewing a new product from my favorite skincare line, Valentia. This is their Night Revive Retinol Serum which claims to fight wrinkles and provide hydration for visibly smoother, rejuvenated skin. Before I get into my review, I want to go over what the ingredients are in this serum as well as the benefits they each pack.

This product contains four key ingredients.

- Retinol (Vitamin A) which is a clinically proven antioxidant that works as a triple threat. It begins by working at the cellular level to stop wrinkles from forming, managing acne breakouts, and evening out skin discoloration. It also claims to help reverse signs of aging by reviving youthful looking and acting skin.
- Vitamin C which is an essential nutrient that boosts Retinol's protective effects, providing a barrier for the skin which guards against free radicals and environmental damage. Which combined help prevent premature aging.
- Vitamin E was specifically chosen for it's moisture protection. This vitamin is known to flood the skin with hydration which can counteract the drying effects of Retinol.
- Squalane is derived from pure olive oil to soften and condition delicate skin. It assists in mitigating the dryness caused by Retinol and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

One of my favorite things about Valentia is how they are very up front with their ingredient list and giving full details on how they work. I also enjoy the fact that they give an estimated time that each product should last you. This serum is estimated to last about 3 to 5 months. The ability to know exactly what is going onto my skin is a crucial part of my routine as I want to use as natural of products as possible. Valentia continues to impress me with their line of skincare products and options.

This serum comes in a 1.18 fl oz bottle and costs $35.00, given the amount of product and wholesome ingredients it contains, I find this to be a great price point. With the serum you are going to notice some short and long term results. In the short term, it claims to condition and nourish skin as well as managing breakouts and giving a more luminous complexion. In the long term, it claims to even skin discoloration, stimulate collage production, and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.

The formula is on the thin side but still has a substantial feel to it so that you can easily apply to the face. I enjoy that it comes in an eyedropper style bottle as it gives complete control of the amount you want to dispense. I found that about 3 drops provided enough for me to fully cover my face and neck area. The scent is quite lovely but not overpowering in any way. The formula itself sets into the skin quite quickly and does not overly dry out my skin. I do use this in combination with many other Valentia skincare products and thus far feel it is greatly impacting my overall complexion.

I suffer from hyper-pigmentation, hormonal breakouts, dry skin, and minor fine lines. With this serum I have begun to notice an overall more even look to my skin as well as more firmness. I feel with continued prolonged use that I can see some major results from the serum. I am loving how well the product works and feel like it's going to be a holy grail product for my anti-aging skincare routine.

If you are looking for a serum with all of the qualities I have described, I truly feel the Night Revive Retinol Serum from Valentia is the must have product for you.
