Halloween Skeleton Craft

9:00 AM

Today I wanted to share a simple arts and craft that we did for our homeschooling group to celebrate Halloween. This is a great craft idea for children of all ages, younger children may need supervision with the small pieces involved. Keep in mind this can be customized depending on the materials you have on hand.

What You'll Need:
- Black construction paper
- Pencil or pen
- Pipe cleaners, which ever colors you prefer
- Skull outline, if you have one
- Glue
- Scissors

Step 1:
Begin by tracing the head shape for your skeleton, my son chose this pirate skull he had on hand. Feel free to draw it entirely how you prefer or you could use the pipe cleaners to shape a design as well.

Step 2:
Begin by sketching out the body and cutting the pipe cleaners to size. I recommend laying out the pieces before gluing down, in case you need to trim any to a different size.

Step 3:
After you have all your pieces figured out, simply glue them down.

Step 4:
Once you have all the pieces glued down, allow it to set and fully dry. Be careful to not overly weigh the paper down as the pieces may easily fall off.

I hope you enjoyed this Halloween craft!
