What I Ate Wednesday {Weight Watchers} #3

9:00 AM

I am back with another edition of my What I Ate Wednesday as a Weight Watchers member. I enjoy sharing this series with all of you as it gives a glimpse of just how amazing being a WW member is as you don't sacrifice at all with your food options. I currently have a daily budget of 38 SmartPoints and I do try my best to stay within that budget every day. I also exercise six days a week doing a one hour workout which is half cardio and half weight lifting. Click here to see my current fall weight lifting routine. Keep reading if you want to see how I spent my points.

Breakfast
Better Oats Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal with Flax and Orange Slices
SmartPoints Value: 3 points
I forgot to take a picture of my breakfast for this morning so I stole a picture from earlier in the week, I have the same thing most of the time which is maple and brown sugar oatmeal with fruit. It's easy to make and low on points, it is also quite filling so I don't mind being repetitive with it.

Lunch
Chicken and Apple Sausage Stuffed Peppers
SmartPoints Value: 8 points
Lunch was leftovers from the night before, this was a different take on my usual stuffed peppers recipe. I used chicken and apple sausage instead of ground meat and added in some dried fruits, it ended up very delicious! Click here for my original stuffed peppers recipe

Dinner
Grilled Chicken with Ramen Noodles
SmartPoints Value: 8 points
I usually use steak strips and some vegetables for my ramen but I decided to try it with fresh herbs and chicken. It was quite tasty and is very simple to make. Simply buy the ramen noodles but do not use the seasoning pack. Cook with chicken broth and then add any extra seasonings you prefer. Then cook the protein or vegetables of your choice.

Dessert
Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte
SmartPoints Value: 16 points
I am a big fan of Pumpkin Spice Lattes and I purposefully saved up my points so I could treat myself without too much guilt. I ordered it with unsweetened almond milk and no whipped cream. It is very points heavy and not something I have regularly but I see no issue with treating myself every once and while.

By the end of the day I had used 35 SmartPoints and earned a total of 11 active points. I stayed under my budget despite my splurge dessert and am quite satisfied with how my day turned out. If you missed my last What I Ate Wednesday then click here to check it out.
