derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub
Full Size Price: $32.50
Sample size value is approximately: $8.12
This is a microdermabrasion scrub that is studded with Dead Sea salt that scrubs away dull skin, giving your complexion a radiant look. The scent of this product is a really nice citrus note that does linger on the skin for a bit. I found that it did exfoliate quite nicely without causing any irritation and it did make my skin feel very smooth. I would purchase the full size of this product.

R+Co ANALOG Cleansing Foam Conditioner
Full Size Price: $29.00
Sample size value is approximately: $7.24
This is a two for one product that is a cleansing conditioner that cleans and hydrates hair. It is made with argan oil, horsetail extract, and green tea. The formula works with all hair types and is ideal for coarse, dry, or color-treated hair. To use this product, work a small amount of conditioner between your palms and massage it through your hair from roots to ends. Rinse with warm water and style as usual. I did not care for the scent of this product, it wasn't horrible but a bit too earthy for me. The formula was quite light and it didn't weigh my hair down at all. I thought it worked fairly well but it isn't really a product for me.

Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Volumizing Mascara
Full Size Price: $15.00
Sample size value is approximately: $2.50
I enjoy trying out new mascaras and this brand is new to me so I was excited to give it a try. This is a volumizing mascara in classic black that promises to give wow-effect lashes without any clumps, smudging, or flaking. It has a unique hourglass brush shape with both long and short bristles which deliver just the right amount of product to each lash. I really enjoyed the brush and how well it applied. It only took a few coats to achieve the look I desired and it did not clump or flake for me. I would purchase the full size of this product.

Bioderma Sebium H20
Full Size Price: $16.90
Sample size value is approximately: $1.87
This is a gentle makeup removing solution that is specifically designed for blemish-prone skin. It is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, paraben-free, and made without any dyes or coloring agents so you will have clean skin that isn't dried out. To use this product, dispense the product onto a cotton pad and sweep over face and eyes to cleanse and remove makeup. I found that this had a very light scent, nothing too strong or noticeable. It did a good job of cleaning my skin and removing my makeup. I enjoyed the product and would consider purchasing the full size.

Milk Makeup Highlighter in shade "Lit"
Full Size Price: $24.00
Sample size value is approximately: $2.40
I am new to using highlighters so I am always excited to try out new ones. This is a highlight that provides subtle, dwey sheen with hydrating ingredients like mango butter, peach nectar, and avocado oil. The product melts on contact for easy application, no brushes required! To apply this product, simply sweep across cheekbones, bridge of nose, decolletage, shoulders, and legs. Blend with fingertips. The coloring of this highlight is absolutely gorgeous. It has a peachy gold hue to it that is perfect for the fall season. I found it looked quite nice on my fair skin and did last for quite awhile on my skin. It applies very smoothly and blends easily with the fingers. I would purchase other shades and the full size of this product.

The value of my September Birchbox is $22.13.
I pay $10.00 a month for my subscription, so I received an additional value of $12.13.

Overall, I was kind of disappointed with this month's box. While it contained a good amount of products that I did like, I found that the sample sizes were quite small and some of my products were leaking or damaged. My favorite product from this month was the highlighter.
