Menu Planning Series {Week 10}

9:00 AM

Welcome to my menu planning series! This series is all about me sharing my family's week of dinners. I make dinner for the family every week day evening, on weekends we eat leftovers and sometimes go out to eat. I try my best to switch up our meals, fairly often and am always looking for new recipes to try. I am hoping this series inspires some of you and also keeps me from being too repetitive with our meals. I will be posting this series every two weeks, which was voted on by all of you. Enjoy this week's menu!

Monday
Baked "Fried" Chicken with Steamed Broccoli and Cornbread Stuffing
This was a new recipe that I tested out for the family. It is a healthier version of fried chicken, giving it a similar texture by baking it instead. I somewhat enjoyed it but found it to be a tad too salty and not quite as crispy as I would have preferred. Click here to view the full recipe.

Tuesday
Minestrone Soup with French Bread
Keeping the menu a bit lighter, I wanted to make a meatless meal and went with this soup. This dish is delicious and makes great leftovers.

Wednesday
Taco Pie with Asian Salad
Switching up our usual taco dinner, this is one of my favorite ways to serve tacos. I paired it with this light and very delicious salad.

Thursday
Nutella Muffins with Veggie Sausage and Scrambled Eggs
We decided that one of the best things to have for dinner is breakfast food. Very yummy and filling!

Friday
We ended up going out to eat for this day. I had a steak and roasted potatoes but did not photograph it as we tend to put our phones away for dinner.

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into my kitchen and menu planning for the week. If I have recipes on my blog for any of the meals posted then the text will be linked in their description. If you would like a recipe for any of the meals posted, please let me know! Click here to see my last edition of my menu planning series.
