Menu Planning Series {Week 6}

9:00 AM

Welcome to my menu planning series! This series is all about me sharing my family's week of dinners. I make dinner for the family every week day evening, on weekends we eat leftovers and sometimes go out to eat. I try my best to switch up our meals fairly often and am always looking for new recipes to try. I am hoping this series inspires some of you and also keeps me from being too repetitive with our meals. I will be posting this series every two weeks, which was voted on by all of you. Enjoy this week's menu!

Week 6 Menu Planning

Monday
Meatloaf with Roasted Vegetables
I had some ground pork that I needed to use and this of course. made me want to make one of my all time favorite dishes which is my meatloaf. It is filling and delicious when paired with fresh roasted vegetables! Click here to get my meatloaf recipe.

Tuesday
Cajun Chicken and Brown Rice
When craving something spicy but still filling, this is one of my go to recipes. It is extremely delicious and makes for perfect leftovers!

Wednesday
Tamale Pie
This was a special request from the family this week. This is a classic dish that is made even better with my homemade honey butter cornbread!

Thursday
Honey Spice Chicken Thighs with Tomato Pasta and Sweet Peas
This is likely one of my all time favorite chicken recipes and can be found by clicking here. I paired this with my kid's two favorite side dishes which compliment it quite well!

Friday
Mini Cherry Pies
Friday was a busy day for us so we went out for dinner and when we got home, I made these mini cherry pies for our 4th of July barbecue. Click here to get the full recipe.

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into my kitchen and menu planning for the week. If I have recipes on my blog for any of the meals posted then the text will be linked in their description.
