Menu Planning Series {Week 3}

9:00 AM

Welcome to Week 3 of my Menu Planning Series! This series is all about me sharing my family's week of dinners. I make dinner for the family every week day evening, on weekends we eat leftovers and sometimes go out to eat. I try my best to switch up our meals fairly often and am always looking for new recipes to try. I am hoping this series inspires some of you and also keeps me from being too repetitive with our meals. I will be posting this series every two weeks, which was voted on by all of you. Enjoy!

Week 3 Menu Planning

Monday

Teriyaki Chicken Tacos
I tried out these tacos thanks to a yummy looking picture from Pinterest. For the full recipe, click here. I really enjoyed these and changed up a few things to make it my own. First, I heated up the tortilla shells to give them some crunch and instead of using the pre-made marinade, I made my own teriyaki sauce and marinated it with that. I will definitely be making these again!

Tuesday

Meatloaf, Baked Potatoes, Sweet Peas
One of my favorite dinners! This is my homemade meatloaf recipe which can be found by clicking here.

Wednesday

Rosemary Parmesan Chicken Nuggets, Orzo, Mixed Vegetables

This is by far my most favorite chicken nuggets recipe which I discovered on Pinterest a few months ago, click here to check it out!

Thursday

Turkey & Cheese Sandwich Rolls with Corn on the Cob

We celebrated my children's birthday on this day so we had a lot of snack type food for dinner, the main parts were these turkey and cheese roll ups and fresh corn on the cob. Click here for my roast beef sandwich rolls recipe which is the basic recipe I used just with a different lunch meat.

Friday

Homemade Pepperoni Pizza, Winter Fruit Salad, Homemade Cheese Pizza
To celebrate the end of the school year, we made homemade pizzas and fruit salad!

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into my kitchen and menu planning for the week. If I have recipes on my blog for any of the meals posted then the text will be linked in their description. If you would like a recipe for any of the meals I have posted, please let me know!
