The Final Product & Review

This recipe was extremely simple to make and provided a great way to get my kids involved as it was perfect for them to do on their own. I do not own a larger Popsicle mold like the one used in the original recipe so I just used the smaller ones that I had. These became completely solid within five hours and the mixture is extremely smooth which is due to the straining process. The flavor is quite unique which I think comes mostly from the Greek yogurt, you get the initial chocolate flavor but there is a tang from the yogurt. Overall, my family really enjoyed them and I loved the simple ingredient list and the fact there is no added sugar except what is in the ingredients already. I think these are a great alternative to most calorie heavy summer treats and we will be trying some other flavor options soon! I highly recommend giving these a try especially with your kiddos!

Keep in mind that every month all of you get to decide which recipe goes into the next Pinterest Test Kitchen, so keep an eye out for next month's poll! If you are new to this series, every month I post a poll with four recipe options from my various Pinterest recipe boards. After one week of voting, the recipe with the most votes will be tested and reviewed by the end of the month. This helps me try something new and put my Pinterest recipes to good use.
