Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum Review

9:00 AM

Today I am reviewing the Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum by Valentia. This is a serum that claims to renew texture and tone, deeply moisturize, minimize fine lines, increase elasticity, brighten, and correct skin. While it seems impossible for a serum to do all of these things. I was pleasantly surprised to find out just how well this worked.

Before getting to my results while using this product, I would like to first go over what goes into the serum itself. The serum contains five key ingredients;
- Wakame Bioferment (Seaweed) which increases skin oxygen consumption to detoxify and boost antioxidant defense.
- Gotu Kola which lessens the appearance of scars and increases skin firmness.
- Lactic Acid which is a natural Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that increases skin cell turnover, for healthier renewed skin.
- Licorice which lightens unwanted pigmentation and corrects skin discoloration.
- Argan Oil which is naturally rich in Vitamin-E, this oil reduces water loss and protects skins resiliency and elasticity.
It is made with 98% natural ingredients and is cruelty and paraben free, as well as being suitable for all skin types.

With the natural ingredients alone, I was already happy to try out this product as I prefer to use as natural as possible skincare items in my routine. I do not suffer from sensitive skin but the less harsh of chemicals I can use, the better in the long run for my skin. I do suffer from hyperpigmentation and hormonal breakouts. My skin can get very dry, especially during the colder times of the year. I am also starting to see some fine lines as well so I have recently been more proactive with adding in anti-aging products in my regular routine.

To use this product, you simply start with a clean face and pump about 1 to 2 drops of the serum onto your face and neck each evening. After the product fully sets then you simply apply your normal moisturizer and eye product of choice. The serum has a thicker yet light texture to it and the scent reminds me of a mild citrus smell that does linger for a bit after use. It is not greasy nor does it feel heavy on the face. It set on my face in less than a minute and for me,it felt a little tighter all over my face after application. It wasn't uncomfortable but did feel like it was causing some natural tension throughout.

Here is my before set of pictures, I have zero makeup on in this picture. The majority of my trouble areas are on my cheeks. This is a good day for my skin, as I have days where my skin is much more flushed and with more breakouts.

I have been consistently using this serum for about a week now and the main reason I decided to go ahead and review this product was because of my quick results. Here is my face after just one week with this product in my nightly routine. In this picture, I only have eye makeup and lip balm on, as I took this before completing my full face of makeup before the day.

As you can see, the redness in my cheeks is mostly cleared and even my breakout is starting to heal and fade. My overall skin tone is more even with the rest of my face, including my neck area. I am in love with this product and can only imagine how much improvement I will see as I continue using it. Obviously, the results are not instant and everyone's skin reacts differently to new products but I am proud to see my skin changing so quickly thanks to the Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum, I can not recommend it enough!
