Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution
Full-size price: $21.00
Sample size value is approximately: $2.50
The first product this month is a 3-in-1 Micellar Solution that removes makeup, cleanses skin, and soothes irritation with natural ingredients like aloe and cucumber. It is made with a hypoallergenic formula that works for both dry and sensitive skin types. It is free of parabens, oil, soap, and alcohol. I really enjoyed how well this product worked and it did not irritate my skin in any way. It carries a very light scent, mostly due to the cucumber ingredient. I found that it did the job with removing a days worth of makeup and left my skin feeling clean, although it was a tad drying. Overall, I really enjoyed the product and would consider purchasing the full size.

Dr. Jart+ Liftra Contour Cream
Full-size price: $60.00
Sample size value is approximately: $6.00
This is a first of it's kind skin product that was one I felt a little confused by as it's described as a contour cream yet has a white colored formula. This product works by it's collagen producing cream firming and adding volume to the skin. Due to it's skin-fitting formula of polymer and collagen threads, it attracts moisture and elasticity for a clear complexion while lifting and tightening. To use this product you simply put both of your palms next to each other and apply in turn from your chin towards the temple, chin to earlobe, next to mouth to earlobe, next to nose to temple, and under eyes to temple.

This cream has a light citrus/herbal scent to it that lingers for a bit of time. I feel this is one of those skincare products that I would need to use for a prolonged period of time in order to fully attest to it's claims but I did feel a light tightening in the areas in which the formula was applied. I enjoy the idea of a unique product like this and would consider purchasing the full size of this product.

Laura Geller New York Baked Blush-n-Brighten in shade "Tropic Hues"
Full-size price: $28.00
Sample size value is approximately: $7.00
This is a blush that has been baked from liquid pigments which contains a blush-highlighter combination that delivers a natural looking flush. It is a weightless feeling powder that is free of added fillers. This blush comes in ten different shades that have a swirl of dark and light hues that combine to give you a perfectly flushed finish. This applies with ease and has a highly pigmented formula. I received the shade Tropic Hues which contains swirls of coral, pink, and bronze. I am in love with the color payoff and the way it combines both a blush and highlighter look. I will definitely be purchasing more shades!

PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Volumizing Lifting Spray
Full-size price: $24.00
Sample size value is approximately: $5.00
This is a hair spray for fine or lifeless hair in need of some reviving. It combines the lifting effect of a root spray with the enhanced body of an all-over volume mist. It volumizes with marshmallow root, nourishes with sweet almond oil, and strengthens with biotin. To use this product, simply spray on partially air-dried or blow-dried roots or wherever volume is desired. Finish with a blow-dryer and style as usual. I really enjoyed the overall formula of this spray and found that it did add extra volume to my hair without it feeling sticky or losing volume quickly after application. The product contains a lovely fruity scent that does linger in the hair after use. I really enjoy how well it works and would consider purchasing the full size of this product.

TOCCA Crema da Mano in scent "Giulietta"
Full-size price: $20.00
Sample size value is approximately: $5.00
I suffer from dry skin so I always enjoy trying new lotion or hand cream products. This hand cream comes in five different unique scents and contains a blend of shea butter, avocado oil, and aloe. I received the scent "Giulietta" which is a blend of pink tulip and green apple. When I applied this I did find it to be very moisturizing but I feel the formula did not linger for an extended period of time. For someone who suffers from dry skin, I would recommend this on a day where you need a pick me up type of moisturizing. The scent of this lotion was mostly a light green apple smell. I really enjoy the unique scent and overall formula but wish it was a bit more hydrating. I would consider trying other scents.

The value of my April Birchbox is $25.50.
I pay $10.00 a month for my subscription, so I received an additional value of $15.50.

Overall, I am fairly pleased with the samples in this month's box. There was a decent variety and each sample was a good size. I am getting a tad bored with the PARLOR brand samples as I feel I have tried many of them and did get another one just last month. While I have mostly enjoyed that brand, I would like the opportunity to sample other brands as well. My favorite product from this month was definitely the blush!
