Easter Menu 2016

I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter! Today, I wanted to share with you what my family made for our Easter dinner. Keep reading if you'd like a peek into our kitchen!

We are the hosts for every holiday get together so these foods were all prepared by me. My children have taken more of an interest in the kitchen lately so they helped me make the desserts for our Easter celebration. We like to keep our meals fairly simple, makes the day less stressful and gives us more time together as a family. Our menu contains a main dish, four side dishes, and two desserts. We also made homemade sweet tea and lemonade that aren't pictured.

Main Course

Side Dishes

These are glazed carrots which are just steamed baby carrots with a brown sugar glaze.

Mashed red potatoes made with butter and cream.

Hawaiian Rolls, I toast these and then make a homemade honey butter spread to go alongside.


This is a carrot cake that my twins decorated into an Easter bunny with an Easter egg, based off a mold we used. We also made mini bunny cakes along the side. The grass is dyed shredded coconut.

These are my all time favorites cookies, they are homemade chocolate chip with sprinkles and are soft and absolutely delicious but beware they are addictive!
