MILK Studios Lip Colo in C.R.E.A.M.
Full Size Price: $22.00
Sample size value is approximately: $1.00
This is a lip color that is a mauve-nude shade. It applies fairly evenly although application was difficult due to the very small sample size. The color payoff is very nice and is quite pigmented. It lasted for quite a while and this was used without a lip liner. I enjoyed the neutral tone of the color and was impressed with the longevity of the color, even through eating and drinking. The formula goes on smooth but does end up being a bit more dry once it sets. I would describe this as a matte shade. Overall I enjoyed the formula and shade I received, I am interested in trying more colors from this brand.

Wilma Schumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads
Full Size Price: $18.00
Sample size value is approximately: $3.60
These are 100% collagen eye pads that claim to plump, hydrate, and restore, enhancing eye contour gently and naturally. Since I received only one set in this sample, I can not attest to any long term claims with these but with the pair I used I did feel that it helped reduce some puffiness in my under eye area. These are fairly easy to apply but be sure to apply slowly as readjusting them too much will lessen their ability to stay stuck on for the 20 minute session. I did experience some tingling and slight redness after using these but did not have any breakouts or long term irritation. Overall, I enjoyed them and would be interested in buying a full size pack to see how well they truly work with more use.

Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio in Filter
Full Size Price: $28.00
Sample size value is approximately: $5.67
This is an eye-shadow trio that comes with neutral tone shades and a highlight color. Unfortunately my trio came shattered and I am in the process of getting a new one but did not receive it before this review so I compressed it and cleaned it up to the best of my ability. The shadows themselves are highly pigmented and are easy to blend. They provide the perfect neutral eye look and I really like the highlight shade as well. I was able to wear these through most of the day with no creasing and the color stayed fairly intact. All of the shades are matte and can easily be applied on top of your favorite eye base for a more pop of color. I would consider purchasing the full size of this product.

PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Smoothing Blowout Spray
Full Size Price: $24.00
Sample size value is approximately: $4.50
This is a lightweight spritz that adds instant volume and luster while protecting hair from heat damage. I really enjoyed the light scent of the product and found that it did help add more volume to my hair and gave it extra moisture after using my blow dryer and flat iron. Overall, I really like the formula and feel with more use that I will see bigger changes in my hair. I would consider purchasing the full size of this product.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
Full Size Price: $26.50
Sample size value is approximately: $4.04
This is a facial cream that promotes being the ultimate soother; giving rich moisture without being greasy and sinking in without any residue. Due to suffering from dry skin, I am always excited to try out new moisturizers. This one has a scent of a light typical lotion, no strong scent and I suppose you could almost describe it as unscented. The formula is light but a little does go a long way and it does set into the skin quite quickly. I enjoyed the amount of moisture it provided and it did not cause any irritation to my skin. I would consider purchasing the full size of this product.

The value of my March Birchbox is $18.81.
I pay $10.00 a month for my subscription, so I received an additional value of $8.81.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about this month's box. While I did enjoy the products I received, I was let down by some of the sample sizes. More-so the lipstick sample was not only tiny but almost not worth using as it could easily break if applied with too much pressure. The value of this month's box is quite low as well so I can say that so far this year, this box is my least favorite. I hope to see some better sample sizes in April's box.
