January 2016 Monthly Favorites

This month's favorites are quite a random assortment, so you have been warned that this is going to be a mixture of random products this time around!

Oral-B Pro 5000 SmartSeries Rechargable Toothbrush
My first favorite is related to a personal project this year, which is all about doing my best to better my overall health. This started with getting myself to the dentist and getting my routine checkup done. During this visit, I was recommended this toothbrush and due to their rebate offer, I decided to give it a try. This toothbrush is the most fancy device I have ever used. Not only is it a rechargeable toothbrush but it also has bluetooth capability which you can download the free app to integrate different programs that sync directly to your toothbrush. While I have not found a great need for the app, I do see it being a benefit to those who may need reminders or a simple timer. It's also used to log all sessions so if you want to keep track of your brushing, then this makes it very simple. This brush cleans so well and beats a manual toothbrush ten times over. I feel like my mouth is as clean as when the dental hygienist cleans my teeth. I can not recommend this product enough!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel cream
With winter being in full effect, my already dry skin has been in need of even more hydration. During my review of the new Neutrogena products, click here if you missed that post and to see my full review, I discovered this hydro boost gel cream. This cream not only fully moisturizes my face but it is long lasting and has a fresh, light scent.

philosophy sweet creamy frosting body lotion
One of my Christmas gifts was a philosophy gift set and this body lotion has been one that I have used a lot of this month. Not only does it smell super sweet and truly like frosting but it is very moisturizing and I enjoy how thick the formula is.

philosophy christmas cookie shampoo, shower gel, & bubble bath
This was another product in that same gift set and as you can tell by the bottle, I have used most of this one and do plan on re-purchasing. This shower gel smells just as sweet as the lotion but carries more of a bakery like scent. It foams up nicely and provides a nice clean feeling without drying out my skin.

Pacifica Beauty Power Of Love Natural Lipstick in Nudie Red
Staying in my current trend of red lips for the winter season, this lipstick is the one I used the most this month. It is a nude red and unique in it's formula as it feels dry when applied but does give a decent amount of moisture. The color is long lasting and is neutral enough that I feel anyone could pull off this shade.

Panic! At The Disco - "Death of a Bachelor"
My last favorite is a new album by one of my all time favorite bands. This is Panic! At The Disco's latest album, "Death of a Bachelor". I have been playing this album nonstop and have enjoyed many a car ride karaoke thanks to this amazing CD. I have been a big fan of Brendon's for a long time and was excitied for this full album which I am an oldie who needs a physical copy along with my digital version as well. My favorite songs off the album are, "House of Memories", "LA Devotee", and "Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time". I really enjoy the mix of a classic Sinatra style with the typical Panic. In my opinion, this is one of his best albums yet and makes me excited for more!
