New Year's Resolutions

Since today is the first day of the year, I figured the best way to start off the new year is with my resolutions. I am not one to typically make a resolution list as I tend to make goals for each month. So, while this list is not very long, it contains the main theme of my goals for the year. I hope all of you have a wonderful New Year!

I have struggled with my weight for awhile and for different reasons. I am making this year the one that I dedicate a lot of time to myself, which is difficult for me as I am naturally a selfless person who puts my family before me. In order to lose weight and be healthier, I have to be ok with taking more me time. I hope to see myself in a whole new light, this time next year.

Quality Time
I think this one is fairly self explanatory. While I do spend a lot of time with my family, I want to make sure that I make the moments really memorable. I want to put in more effort to do more adventurous things and to really embrace being more active as a family.

I suffer from high anxiety and have dealt with some hardships in my life that have really shaped me into being a person who is overly stressed and doesn't have a lot of patience. I want to make time to practice meditation and to allow myself to step back from situations more often and breathe, think about if it's worth being upset over.

My blog has been a new found passion of mine since the summer of 2015. I would like to be able to put out more unique content as well as being more active on my social media accounts so I connect with my readers. I would love to see my blog grow in not only audience but also in my ability to put out the best content I can.
