Holly Jolly Holiday Tag

9:00 AM

In the spirit of the holidays, I thought I would do a fun themed tag that I have seen on YouTube and other blogs. Hope you enjoy!

1. What is your favorite Christmas movie?

My all time favorite Christmas movie is definitely the original "Miracle on 34th Street".

2. Are you on the naughty or nice list?

I'd have to say that I am on the nice list!

3. Do you have an embarrassing Christmas photo to show?

Unfortunately, I do not have any. Although I am sure there were some taken just don't have them in my possession. : )

4. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Quite a few! I lived in the North East area for quite awhile so had lots of snow and usually on Christmas day. Now that I am back in my hometown area in the South, I see my chances as much lower for this year but we do get snow occasionally.

5. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

I am the hostess for all holiday occasions so I get to stay home and prepare everything!

6. Play or sing your favorite Christmas song.

I have two that I can't decide between, my favorite classic Christmas song is "Let It Snow" by Dean Martin, you can listen to it by clicking here. My favorite modern Christmas song is "In Love On Christmas Day" by *NSYNC, you can listen to it by clicking here.

7. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

We open one gift on Christmas Eve, which usually contains our Christmas pajamas, a movie, and some hot cocoa. We call it our Santa Kit. : )

8. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

I can, mostly thanks to the Rudolph song!

9. What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?

Making Christmas cookies for Santa with my children and husband.

10. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

We have a real tree.

11. Hands down, what's your all-time favorite holiday food and sweet treat?

My all time favorite holiday food would have to be my homemade cranberry sauce and my favorite sweet treat is Coca-Cola cake, I use my granny's recipe that was passed down to me.

12. Be Honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I am a naturally giving person, so I do genuinely enjoy giving far more. I actually feel quite overwhelmed when accepting gifts, I much prefer being the one who gives.

13. Show us your tackiest Christmas attire.

I honestly don't have any. Guess I need to get on that!

14. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

Any where in Europe.

15. Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?

Since I do all the cooking, then I guess you can say I enjoy making it all.

16. Are you a pro-present wrapper or do you fail miserably?

I am somewhere in between. If I have the time and drive, I can wrap fairly nice but if it's an oddly shaped gift or I am in a rush then it can fail quite easily.

17. Most memorable Holiday moment?

That's a tie for me. From my childhood, it would be all my Christmas Eve celebrations with my grandparents and extended family. From current years, it would be seeing my children participate in all my childhood traditions. It's like seeing it all over again through their eyes.

18. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

I busted my parents putting Santa's gifts under the tree when I was about 7 or 8.

19. Do you make New Years Resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I make yearly goals, so I guess it's sort of like a New Years Resolution. I try my best to stick to all of them but sometimes some just don't come to fruition.

20. What makes the Holidays special for you?

Spending time with my children and husband. With how hectic our lives can be, I love the amount of quality time we get during this time of the year.

I hope you enjoyed this tag and feel free to complete it yourself in the comments below.

As always any requests, questions, or comments are greatly appreciated. Talk to you soon!
