Pulled Pork Sandwiches

What You'll Need:

3lb boneless pork loin
1 tbsp garlic powder
 ½ cup root beer
Sandwich Rolls
Barbecue sauce

Step 1:
Begin by getting your crock pot out, place pork loin in pot. Poke entire pork loin with a fork to help tenderize the meat.

Step 2:
Sprinkle garlic powder on both sides, use half of what is needed per side. Then pour root beer on top.

Step 3:
Cover pork loin, then set crock pot to low heat for 6 to 8 hours.

Step 4:
About half way through cooking, begin to pull meat apart with a fork. This step is optional, if you are not going to be home while this is cooking then skip this step. Be sure to pull the pork before continuing any steps though.

Step 5:
Once the meat is done, finish shredding the meat and then add barbecue sauce and mix well. You can have this without barbecue sauce, simply add salt and pepper to your taste. Use as much or as little barbecue sauce as you'd like or serve on the side for everyone to add to their taste.

Step 6:
You can toast your sandwich rolls or not, simply add the pork and serve with extra sauce if you want. I served mine with sweet potato fries, broccoli casserole, and pickles tonight.
